Rice Equipment Sales Professionals work within a protected territory to represent our various lines of products and services, including:
• Serco dock equipment and Rytec High speed doors.
• Allied warehouse capital equipment lines
• Aftermarket solutions and accessories for all major brands of dock equipment.
• Maintenance contracts, parts, and repair services
Our customer account base includes anyone with a loading dock, with emphasis on manufacturers and distribution centers. This is an outside sales position, with responsibility for growing existing accounts, prospecting and securing new customers, developing national accounts and introduction of new products to the marketplace.
We provide our Sales Force with everything needed for success. This includes the leading product lines in the industry, excellent initial and ongoing training, sales tools, laptop, and cell phone. Experience and Skills:
Successful candidates will combine a college degree with a minimum of 5 years successful outside sales experience in an industrial or commercial setting. In addition, our Sales Representatives must possess excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, and be skilled at building productive business relationships. Sales Representatives must have good knowledge of their territory and its customer base, be able to develop solid territory business plans, and be able to effectively cover their territories on a daily basis (no relocation assistance will be provided). A good mechanical aptitude is helpful, and a strong work ethic and desire to succeed is essential.
